The Bay Tree Hotel - Burford

Good hotel with great amenities like free parking, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar. I remember when the staff helped me with bug spray on my first stay. I highly recommend visiting!

Appealing and exceptionally clean place overall with stunning and brilliant location in the alleyway. Breakfast with scrambled. Location next to Burford, shops.

We were given an upgrade to mini suite because of overbooking for garden rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms were of extremely high quality. We ate one night in the bar and another in the dining room. Both meals were of top quality. The gardens are well maintained and were a good alternative to sit and relax with coffee or tea The sister hotel which is only 100 metres away provided an alternative bar and garden for afternoon tea.

If a complaint was to be made, the service for breakfast was a little slow, but since we were not pressed for time it provided the opportunity to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal

Knowledgeable staff, good services, including plenty of decent delicacies. Fashionable and luxurious hotel units with fireplaces perfect for a relaxing reading of a book or a news paper and a generous sized bathroom plus champagne.

It was just a great match for a stopover in Burford with very good value for money. The staff were very nice and attentive during our entire stay. If you have an electric car, check charging options in advance.

Bay Tree was our favorite hotel of the several we visited on our holiday. The rooms were lovely, all the staff was exceptional, the town of Burford is a convenient and lively place to locate for seeing the Cotswolds.

The service in the restaurant was very slow. We had booked a table for 7pm and did not receive our main meal until almost 9pm. We did make a point of explaining to the waiter but he responded that he was very offended. This did take the edge off the evening

The immense room had good amenities, though the cleanliness was lacking.

Lovely old world atmosphere at the hotel with real log fires. Very cosy and charming

Restaurant manager was inflexible about making the Bar menu available in the restaurant for our teenage daughter. He was very courteous though.

The room was spacious with beautiful garden views, and the service was really good. And the delicious meals were a highlight, especially the breakfast offerings.
